Have you ever fancied working in the great outdoors? If so, this may be the place to look! Flaurel andHardy Gardening Services are are a relatively new business based in the Worth valley. Having completed a successful year in 2016, we may be looking to recruit in 2017.

Benefits for working at Flaurel and Hardy Gardening Services:
  • Reasonable rates of pay (including paid breaks when working longer hours)
  • T-shirts with logo provided (must be worn on all customer visits)
  • Safety shoes provided
  • Transport provided - to and from specified pick up and drop off points
  • Full employee insurance - if, in the unlikely event of an accident whilst on site, you will be fully insured

The small print:
  • We do ask that any employee of Flaurel and Hardy Gardening Services is registered as self employed (and can provide full evidence to support this). This means that you look after your own tax. We will pay an hourly rate and it is your responsibility to ensure you declare and pay your own tax. To register yourself as self-employed is free and simple to do. You would need to contact HMRC to find out how to do this. Flaurel and Hardy would not be responsible for helping you with this process,
  • There are exceptions to the above For example, if you are a student who will be employed for less than 30 hours per week for a period of less than 90 days, then you are exempt from paying tax (**** CHECK THIS) and therefore do not need to be registered as self employed.
